'Watership Down'

We were asked at work to create interpretations of our favorite books for National Library Week. I decided to tackle a book that's fascinated me ever since I first read it... Watership Down by Richard Adams. It'd been a while since I'd had a chance to play on the Cintiq so, I opted to create a drawing. This is the result.

A commission. I'm quite happy with how the lighting turned out on this one.

'Mile High Meal'

Another commission complete!

The thing about gremlins is that their fur is very dark. While great for helping gremlins blend into the shadows, it also leads to them blending into dark spots on planes.

Which, now that I think about it, would probably make them even more terrifying. You'd hear these strange metallic tearing sounds, get glimpses of movement, and yet can't fully see what's causing it all.

Until a gremlin pops up by your window, that is.

'Say Yes?'

A finished commission!

Allen proposes to Emily while Moraine looks on. These two are just too cute.

'Run Like Hell'

This spread for A Year and a Day Issue 3 kind of got away from me. I was hoping to get an ominous feel here. I'm not quite sure if I quite pulled it off, but I'm still happy with the results.

'A Year and a Day' Issue 3, Page 1

I really like the way the art, as well as Bertie's monologue, turned out on this one.

'The Hunt in Piccadilly'

Herne and his Hunt have invaded Piccadilly Circus. I doubt they're there just to see the sights.

'Hunt Night'

Sometimes when you get a cover idea you just need to sit down and work it up before it slips away on you.

Here's the cover for A Year and a Day Issue 3. It was fun working with so much green. Especially that bright, almost acid-green color. I really like how that turned out.
